My Summer

I'm realistic and I know a lot of people don't read this. I start working at the Iowa State Fair tomorrow so today is officially my last day of summer.
These are the people who, in some way, impacted my summer.
I'm not naming names, but I'm sure you can guess who you are.
But chances are, you probably aren't reading this anyways.

Person A) Thanks for being my best friend all summer long! I can't believe we never hung out before this summer. You are a great person and I'm so glad that we found each other this summer I've had TONS of fun with you whether it was a late night drive or a trip to the beach, you made my summer worth while. You know my life story and you were always there to make me feel better. We went through a lot of shit together this summer but I feel like we made it through together. I can't wait for you to come visit me in Ames. I love you!!!!!

Person B) Words can't describe how much you mean to me. No joke. You are the most monumental person in my life, good and bad. I've never cared for someone so much and I've never let some one get so close to my soul before. I could write for days about all of the things that are meaningful between us and all of the feelings that you don't understand, but I honestly know you don't read this, you don't really care. You are an amazing person but honestly, you broke me. How did you effect my summer? You were the one person I spent my whole summer with last year, and barely saw this year. There is so much that is misunderstood between us but we both know that neither of us will back down. You aren't the person I can be with, you aren't the person I thought you were and I can't wait anymore for you to grow up. I'm sorry for everything that has happened. We have so much to talk about.

Person C) I don't know a lot about you and you know that drives me insane but honestly, I love how you don't care. Thanks for always making our time together care free and fun. I'm really glad that we met, even though we did have to go through a bullshit class together. You have always been there to make me laugh and to make me realize that nothing is as big of a deal as I think it is. You are an amazing person. I can't get enough of your smart-ass remarks and your witty humor that most people don't understand. Thanks for keeping me smiling this summer.

Person D) You you you. You sir are something else. You are really one of the most interesting people that I've ever met. I love texting you late at night, mainly because it's almost a guarantee that you'll be awake. I love giving you advice, I hope you get what you want because you deserve the greatest girl there is. I'm glad we finally got to actually hang out and I hope I get to see you during school. I love how smart you are and how interested in the world you are. I love talking about current issues with you and talking about just everyday joys of life with you. I just plain love talking to you. Thanks for talking to me, sometimes, and I forgive you for being flakey most of the time.

Person E) Hey, remember when we went to Chicago together and saw Incubus?? Enough said. Thanks for an amazing roadtrip.

Person F) I'm glad you survived all the shit that you had to go through, I hope you are brave enough to move to Colorado, I think it will be an amazing experience and I really think it will change your life for the better. I will always believe in you and I hope that you find that living life with a clear head is better than living life on pills. I don't want you to turn out like your dad because I know that you can do better. Keep on keepin on and remember, we both go together if one falls down.

Person G) I'm going to miss you when you move to Oregon, but I'm SOOOOO excited to write postcards to you AND to come visit you. :)
